Transport services

Trams | The tram service runs from Adelaide's north-west to Glenelg in the south-west. The tram is free to ride between the South Terrace and Entertainment Centre stops. |
Trains | The train service connects Adelaide with its outer suburbs. There are several different train lines departing from the Adelaide CBD. |
Buses | Various bus services run throughout Adelaide and the surrounding suburbs. |
Free City Loop bus | A free city connector loop bus that runs throughout the Adelaide CBD. |
Adelaide Metro ticket information | As a tertiary student, you will need to purchase the Concession ticket on all public transport. The 'Student' ticket is only for primary and high school students. If you travel on a Concession ticket, you will need to make sure you always carry a valid Student ID card with you on public transport. |
University transport | The University offers a free after hours shuttle bus service as well as an inter-campus shuttle bus. |
The Village shuttle bus | Students living at the University of Adelaide Village also have the option of using The Village shuttle bus directly from their accommodation to the North Terrace Campus. |
