Pathway Programs & Courses
Do you want to prepare for tertiary study in Australia? Bridge the gap between school and university with pathway programs.
Foundation studies
Foundation programs are designed to meet the special needs of international students who do not meet the academic requirements for entry into undergraduate programs at the University of Adelaide.
If you are a student with a secondary qualification from the following countries, you are advised to complete a foundation studies program:
- South Pacific islands
- Japan
- Korea
- Philippines
- Saudi Arabia
Foundation programs help students develop the required level of language and independent study skills needed for successful university study. They provide a supportive environment where friendships can be developed with both international and Australian students. Students will also have access to the University library and other services.
Foundation studies providers
The foundation studies programs taught at the University of Adelaide College and Eynesbury College are monitored to maintain the academic standards required for admission to the University. Each program provides a range of different subject choices, intakes and experiences; students should contact the college directly to find more information.
