Arunima has always wanted to help people. Originally planning to study medicine, Arunima recently discovered she has a passion for business.  

“When I was exploring my options, I saw the Bachelor of Finance at the University of Adelaide and instantly knew this was the career path I wanted to go for.”

Choosing the University of Adelaide was an easy decision for Arunima who was attracted to the relaxed but lively student lifestyle in Adelaide.  Arunima also enjoys the challenging coursework in the Finance program and is enthusiastic about the extracurricular activities at the University of Adelaide which have enriched her student experience. She joined the AIESEC student group in her first year which allowed her to meet many new friends; through her accounting class Arunima was introduced to the CA Achievers Program (Chartered Accountants) which led to her securing an internship in her first year of her undergraduate degree! 

In the future Arunima hopes to take advantage of the University’s global learning program and undertake a semester of study abroad as well as use her passion for helping others as a financial analyst and advisor.
